February 12, 2024 – 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Comments on the Central Atlantic Proposed Sale Notice
On February 12, 2024, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ submitted comments to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) on its Proposed Sale Notice for the Central Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf. 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ appreciates BOEMs effort to move forward with a Central Atlantic lease sale, and notes that the PSN outlining wind energy areas (WEA) available for lease is a vital next step towards ensuring the states of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina—and even states outside the region—meet their current and anticipated future offshore wind and decarbonization goals.
